Description
Tacrolimus ophthalmic suspension is a calcineurin inhibitor used off-label for severe allergic eye diseases including vernal conjunctivitis. It provides potent anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting T-cell activation and cytokine production. Studies have shown efficacy in steroid-resistant cases of vernal keratoconjunctivitis.
