Description

Aspirin is an antiplatelet agent used as adjunctive therapy in Sneddon syndrome to reduce thrombotic risk. It inhibits platelet cyclooxygenase and thromboxane A2 production. Low-dose aspirin is often combined with anticoagulation in patients with antiphospholipid antibodies and cerebrovascular manifestations.
