Description
Acetazolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor used to reduce intraocular pressure in glaucoma and other conditions. In cases of ectopia lentis and related ocular complications such as those seen in blepharoptosis-myopia-ectopia lentis syndrome, it may be used to manage secondary glaucoma. It helps reduce aqueous humor production in the eye.
